The Women of Strength 2026 Tour: From Surviving to Thriving: Voices of Strength, Healing, and Empowerment is a nationwide speaking tour featuring award-winning women sharing powerful stories of surviving domestic violence and childhood trauma. Through intimate, fireside-style conversations, the program creates a safe space to inspire dialogue, raise awareness, support prevention, and encourage action around mental health and healing.
ABOUT
MY STORY
LaTasha C. Watts is an award-winning child advocate, multi-industry entrepreneur, publicist, and talent manager. She is also a writer, speaker, and the author of "I'm Not Broken Just A Little Twisted." She was selected by The White House as a change-maker by former First Lady Michelle Obama's United States of Women for her dedication to addressing the needs of young women and for her continuous contributions and commitment to the foster care and adoption communities.
However, her humble beginnings and the path of her life would tell a very different story, one filled with a treacherous journey through a broken system, riddled with tragedy, unspeakable child abuse, partially stolen sight, and a battle with cancer that literally left her unable to speak. Despite those adversities, she has maintained a determination to make a positive impact for young women and to systematically change the lives of others.
LaTasha has received numerous proclamations, awards, and has been featured in textbooks, newspapers, and in several magazines. She has worked on multiple nationwide charity campaigns, consulted on movie sets, and has appeared on the Tamron Hall Show, 20/20, the Mel Robbins’ Show, and a host of local news outlets.
Today, she travels nationwide delivering powerful speeches, providing educational training, and, consulting services, creating an impact that will garner community and global change forever.
